For Clinicians - FAQs
Support for Clinicians at Every Stage of Practice
Whether you’re a new LMSW working toward your LCSW in Missouri or an experienced clinician seeking fresh perspective, supervision is more than just a licensure requirement — it’s a space to grow, reflect, and refine your skills. My approach to clinical supervision blends real-world experience with an affirming, collaborative style, helping you build confidence, strengthen your clinical judgment, and sustain your passion for the work.
-
I provide individual and group clinical supervision for provisionally licensed social workers (LMSWs) in Missouri who are working toward their LCSW. My supervision is tailored to clinicians serving diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ clients, trauma survivors, and neurodivergent individuals. Whether you work in community mental health, schools, private practice, or other settings, I focus on helping you develop strong clinical skills, navigate ethical challenges, and build a sustainable, client-centered practice.
-
Supervision sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be conducted via secure video conferencing or in-person (when available). We’ll balance case discussion, skill-building, ethical decision-making, and professional growth. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and tailored to your clinical niche, so you feel supported while building your confidence and competence.
-
I believe supervision should be a space where you can bring your full self without fear of judgment. My role is to help you refine your clinical skills, deepen your understanding of ethical practice, and navigate the realities of working in the mental health field — all while making sure you’re supported as a human, not just a clinician.
-
Yes. I currently offer individual supervision and plan to offer small group supervision as demand grows. Group supervision is a great way to learn from peers, share diverse perspectives, and build professional connections while meeting licensure requirements.
-
Individual supervision is billed at $70 per hour. Group supervision, when available, will be offered at a reduced per-person rate. Rates are reviewed annually and are posted on the Clinical Supervision page for transparency.
-
Yes — I meet all Missouri Board of Social Work requirements for LCSW clinical supervision, including holding an active license in good standing and completing the necessary supervision training. I’ll also provide documentation of your hours for your licensure application.
-
Absolutely. I maintain detailed supervision records and can provide progress evaluations as required by your licensing board. We’ll also periodically review your professional development goals to ensure you’re on track.
-
Currently, I provide licensure supervision only for Missouri-based LMSWs. However, I can offer case consultation, training, and professional support to independently licensed clinicians in other states, provided it meets your state’s regulations.
-
I am in the process of developing continuing education opportunities for clinicians, with an emphasis on LGBTQIA+ affirming care, neurodivergent support, and relationship diversity. These will be announced on the CEU & Trainings page as they become available.
-
If you’re interested in supervision, you can contact me through the form on the Clinical Supervision page or email me directly. We’ll schedule a brief consultation to discuss your needs, review your licensure requirements, and determine if we’re a good fit to work together.
